[It really is surprising, isn't it? The thought of Gojou being anyone's mentor. And Megumi himself barely realized just how well the guy trained him. It's why young Gojou is so frustrating. And after everything went down in Shibuya, it dawned on him just how much he had taken for granted..........

[It's a bit of a both. But also- he's grown up with that kind of mindset. The one where Gojo always calls him "too serious". You get all sorts of training when you grow up with that guy as your mentor/guardian.]
