[ oushi isn't surprised by her answer; he figures for someone who's been here as long as she has, she must have met everyone at least once by now. certainly, she's been made to play this game long enough that she would have a clear understanding of what she wants, instead of blindly wading through the waves like he is.
so he doesn't bother to respond, especially as he's already made it to her floor and found her suite. he mumbles a quiet but clear greeting as he pushes past the opened door, gently toeing off his shoes before he sets the book she used back onto the coffee table by her couch—
he pauses, staring at her for a moment, as if uncertain about something. in the end, he seems to make up his mind (by keeping his mouth shut) and instead just slowly eases his way towards the couch, nudging at her. ]

The cat pattern lounge wear she has on is much less formal than he ever sees her if she's already managed to leave the suite that day, but since all of this is planning and not current dates she feels as if she can at least strategically secure not getting a suit flare in peace and comfort.
