That's fairly pragmatic.
I think that worse is not the juice but no literal compulsion at all, but for more abstract motivations like social capital, financial gain, psychological dominance...
But then, that makes it all feel pretty much the same as any other else.
Talk about peeling back the glitz and the glam.
