[ let it be known — for the record — that oushi is not drunk. he is, at most, tipsy. certainly noticeably so, with his flushed cheeks, a dreamy stare, and a slight tilt to his walk — over all, just shy of being embarrassing. (or so he'd like to think.)
somehow, he manages not to give into the temptation to lean against the older man as the pair quietly make their way down the hall towards keita's suite. not for anything lascivious, of course (unless? haha,) but the watchmaker had mentioned a few of his latest projects and oushi, still so very fascinated by the craft, despite understanding so very little of it, had asked if he could see them. (that wine had helped loosen his tongue plenty; he's not normally a wine drinker, either, but the premise of the dinner made him feel like he had to class things up a little.
so much for that...)
there are never any leftovers when it comes to the red cardinal, so oushi is pleasantly full. instead what they carry with them ate the scents of the restaurant, lingering on the cloth of their clothes, the strands of their hair. still, when a little sway brings oushi a little too dangerously close to keita, he is certain he can still smell the man's very distinct soap along the nape of his neck. ]
It's nice.

he straightens a little, but thankfully it seems like they have arrived at their destination. he finally gives into the need to lean, and though he spares keita the burden of bearing his weight and has instead given that responsibility to the suite's doorframe, it does come with the unfortunate (?) side effect of crowding keita as the man uses his watch to open the door for them.
anyway, best not to seem like a strange person and explain while he's suddenly spouting out random things. ]
